We choose ingredients at the market, then head to a Moroccan home to cook with our host. Make the meal together, sit down to eat, and leave with the recipes.

An evening out in Casablanca
Spend an evening finding out what Casablanca eats and drinks. Three seated stops, an egg-and-khlii sandwich, and stories about the city as we walk and ride between them. Moroccan wine and beer are included if you drink; non-alcoholic alternatives are available, at the same price.

A hands-on msemen class in a Moroccan home

Most Morocco trips are sold by an agency abroad, passed to an agency here, and handed to whichever guide is free that week. Mine are not. I build the itinerary, I choose the hotels, and either I am with you or I have chosen the person who is — and you know which before you book.

Frequently asked questions
How do I book?
Send me your preferred date and group details. I confirm availability, suitability, the total price and the terms. You then pay the agreed deposit using the instructions I send, and I confirm your booking and meeting details.
How do I pay, and what currency?
Prices are set in Moroccan dirham. Payment is by bank transfer or a PayPal payment request that I send you. If you pay through PayPal, we agree the invoice amount in a supported currency first, because PayPal does not process dirham. There is no online checkout.
Can I book as a solo traveller?
These experiences run for 3 guests or more. If you are one or two, message me anyway — I will either pair you with another small group or quote you for a private session.
I have a dietary requirement.
Tell me when you write. We discuss it before I accept the booking, because suitability depends on the menu and on cooking in a home kitchen.
Which languages do you guide in?
English, French, Arabic and Mandarin. Your guiding language is a separate choice from the language you read this website in, so tell me which you would prefer.
Can you arrange a private day or a longer Morocco journey?
Yes. A private Casablanca day is a private version of the experiences here. A longer Morocco journey is planned with you, and we agree before you book whether I guide it personally or arrange it with a driver and local guides.
